Roughcast System – Eaglesham

Two coats of Roughcast System with reinforcing, crack-preventing mesh embedded in the base coat render, applied to a semi-detached house and garage, plus Silicone Render System installed to the porch/entry door areas and basecourse. All in Eaglesham. Another house on this same street 😉

ROUGHCAST / DRY DASH SYSTEM AS FOLLOWS:
-hammer test to find all the hollow/boss areas in existing wall covering
-removing all defective areas
-dubbing out to bring the level up
-proper, deep-penetrating bonding agent
-PVC beads and trims (1st fix)
-base coat adhesive render (modern, strong and specially enhanced/reinforced, breathable render)
-fibreglass mesh properly embedded in the base coat render
-extra mesh to all the corners of all the openings (stress patches)
-system fixings (if required only) (50mm, large, flat-heads, PVC fixings to mechanical tie the base coat and mesh to the substrate)
-PVC beads and trims (2nd fix)
-scratching the surface
-white or coloured dash receiver / exposed render (modern, polymer enhanced, render compoud specially designed to receive the stones/chips/agregates)
-white or other (various selection) chips/stones/agregates
-low modulus, external quality mastic sealants (all around the system)

-silicone masonry paint to the window sills and edges/fascias on the gable
